RICHMOND HILL – Get ready to have fun in your own backyard this winter! Richmond Hill has several activities and events planned to get people outside exploring their own city.

• Winter Lights – New this year is a magical display of lights for all ages to enjoy! Stroll through the Richmond Green Heritage Walkway to enjoy trees lit for the season. On now through winter.
• Light Up Richmond Hill Contest– Submit a photo of your decorated home and/or business to the City’s website for a chance to win a prize pack. Contest runs November 13 - December 10. Contest details – RichmondHill.ca/WinterFun
• Skate outdoors – Richmond Green Skate Trail is expected to open mid-December (weather permitting). The City plans to offer additional outdoor skating opportunities in the New Year if weather permits. Subscribe for updates – RichmondHill.ca/OutdoorSkating
• Ring in the New Year – Join us for First Night, a virtual fun-filled family celebration from 8-9 p.m. on December 31. This year’s event includes musical performances, activities and more! – RichmondHill.ca/FirstNight
