RICHMOND HILL – Earlier this week, the Ontario Government announced that York Region, including the City of Richmond Hill, could move into Stage 3 of COVID-19 recovery on Friday, July 24, 2020.

2020 Summer Sidewalk Inspection Work

Richmond Hill is performing a sidewalk inspection throughout the City from approximately Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, weather permitting. This work will be done by Top Hat Robotics, who produce sidewalk robots for a number of work-related use-cases like detecting sidewalk deficiencies. These robots will be inspecting Richmond Hill sidewalks accompanied by a Top Hat Robotics employee who is happy to answer any questions you may have about the program.
