Statement: Passing of Diane Ford, mother of Doug Ford
On behalf of Council, Acting Mayor Joe DiPaola offered the following statement on the passing of Premier Doug Ford’s mother:
Our hearts go out to Premier Doug Ford and his entire family on the passing of Mrs. Diane Ford, the Premier’s mother. We offer our sincere condolences, as I’m sure the entire province does at this difficult time. May you find peace and healing through your warm memories.”
Notice of Road Disruption: Intersection of Bayview and 16th Avenues

Please be advised road restrictions are scheduled for the intersection of Bayview Avenue and 16th Avenue from approximately Friday, January 3 at 7 p.m. until Monday, January 6 at 6 a.m.
Eastbound and westbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane only. All northbound and southbound lanes through the intersection will be closed. Left turns in all directions will be closed. Right turns will be allowed. Detour signs will be posted and traffic control will be in place.
