Richmond Hill issues two tax bills per year. The interim tax bills are mailed in January of each year with instalments due in March and May. The interim bill is based on 50% of the previous year's annualized taxes and is shown as a reduction on the final bill.
Your final tax bill is sent to you in June with instalments due in August and October.
The final non-residential tax bills are mailed in August with instalments due in October and November.
It is important for property owners to ensure they receive their property tax bills and pay them on time. Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse a taxpayer from responsibility for payment or relieve the owner of liability for the penalty and interest due to late payment. Please ensure that Revenue Services has your correct mailing address.
