To vote in the 2026 Municipal Elections you must be on the Voters’ List

Come back to this page on September 1, 2026, to check if you are on the Voters' List. If you are not on the Voters' List, you can add or update your personal information.
You can vote if you are:

a Canadian citizen; and
-
at least 18 years old on or before Voting Day (October 26, 2026); and
-
a resident of Richmond Hill, an owner or tenant of land in the City of Richmond Hill, or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land in Richmond Hill; and
-
not prohibited from voting under any law
It is important to check to see if your voter information is correct for the 2026 Municipal Elections, especially if you have moved or changed your name since the 2022 Municipal Elections or more recently, the 2024 York Region District School Board Trustee By-election.
