The 'Am I on the Voters' List Portal' is Now Closed.
You must visit a Vote Centre to check or update your information on the Voters' List.
Eligible voters may still vote at a Vote Centre before 8:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026. You will need to bring valid identification showing your name and address (see below).
Vote Centres are open:
- Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Monday, October 26, 2026,10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The following is a list of acceptable identification for the purpose of amending, revising, or adding an elector to the Voter’s List. The name and qualifying address on the identification must be the same as on the application to update the Voters’ List.
- Acceptable identification that demonstrates both identity and qualifying address:
- Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Ontario Photo Card
- Acceptable identification that demonstrates identity only:
- Ontario Health Card (photo card only)
- Canadian Passport
- Status Card under the Indian Act
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- Accepted identification that demonstrates qualifying address only:
- Ontario motor vehicle permit (vehicle portion)
- Cancelled personalized cheque (only if cancelled within the three months preceding Voting Day (October 26, 2026))
- Mortgage statement, lease or rental agreement relating to property in Ontario
- Insurance policy or insurance statement
- Loan agreement or other financial agreement with a financial institution
- Document issued or certified by a court in Ontario within three months prior to Voting Day (October 26, 2026)
- 2026 City of Richmond Hill Property Tax Bill
- 2026 City of Richmond Hill Water Bill
- MPAC property tax assessment
- Credit card statement, bank account statement, or RRSP, RRIF, RHOSP or T5 statement
- Cheque stub, T4 statement or pay receipt issued by an employer within three months of Voting Day (October 26, 2026)
- Document from a Band Council in Ontario established under the Indian Act (Canada)
- 2025 Income Tax Assessment Notice
- Child Tax Benefit Statement
- Statement of Employment Insurance Benefits Paid T4E
- Canada Pension Plan Statement of Contributions
- Statement of Direct Deposit for Ontario Works
- Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Statement of Benefits T5007
- Document showing residence at a long-term care home issued by the administrator for the home
- 2025 Statement of Old Age Security T4A (OAS)
- 2025 Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits T4A (P)
- Hospital card or record
- CNIB Card or a card from another registered charitable organization that provides services to persons with disabilities
- 2026 utility bill for hydro, water, gas, telephone or cable TV or a bill from a public utilities commission
- A transcript or report card from a post-secondary school

Voter Eligibility
You can vote if you are:
-
a Canadian citizen; and
-
at least 18 years old on or before Voting Day (October 26, 2026); and
-
a resident of Richmond Hill, an owner or tenant of land in the City of Richmond Hill, or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land in Richmond Hill; and
-
not prohibited from voting under any law
